Cabbage for skin and hair

cabbage for skin and hair
Did you know that plain ol' cabbage is one of the best foods ever for healthy skin? Wellll...surprise!

Not only is this veggie a rich source of phytonutrients and antioxidants, but it is also high in sulphur, one of nature's beauty secrets, which helps dry up oily skin and acne. Vitamins A & C work together to protect the skin from sun damage.

Cabbage can also detoxify the liver and skin, so it rids the body of toxins that lead to things like dull skin, arthritis, blemishes and cancers.

Since cabbage is rich in silicon as well, some people even drink cabbage juice or apply it directly to the scalp to minimize hair loss and improve hair health. Just massage into scalp, leave in overnight and rinse in the morning 3x's a week.   D.I.Y. tip: You can use fresh cabbage leaves as a compress to soothe eczema, rashes, acne, insect bites and even arthritis.
Just blend or crush cabbage leaves and place directly on the area for 15 minutes.

You can also use cabbage juice with our Fresh Mask Mixes or Mineral Mud to get extra benefits from your treatment.

Cabbage will keep longer as long as the head is intact. To reduce waste, and keep your cabbage handy and power-packed, it can be portioned and kept in the freezer.
