Do limit sun exposure - obviously, we all know UV rays can cause all kinds of problems - and keep an eye out for sunscreens with zinc or titanium dioxide as the active ingredient. There is some controversy with titanium, so if you're concerned about your sun care ingredients, stick to products formulated with zinc.

Exercise can also increase your mental clarity, lower stress, and make for a more productive and well-rounded lifestyle. It's important, y'all! Even small steps like biking to the store and walking places that are within reasonable distance have easily increased my activity level (hey, reducing that carbon footprint too!).
I was lucky to score this beautiful vintage beach cruiser on craigslist for less than $100, so it's an easy one-time purchase that I've already been using for months to get around town. Sweating, which just happens to come quite easily when you find yourself on a beach cruiser, is a great way to cleanse and purify the skin, helping to clear out surface pollutants and impurities that can get trapped in the outer layers of skin. It can help eliminate toxins and promote clearer, healthier complexion! A trip to the farmers market for one of the season's other favorites - sweet, juicy tomatoes! Roast 'em at around 400* F, tossed in oil and salt with the cut side down, until the skins char and peel back. Remove skins and toss roasted tomatoes with your favorite pasta, or blend with something creamy for a sexy pasta sauce.
