Make D.I.Y. "sunburn soothers" with cold-pressed, pure, nutrient-rich juices! Just freeze juice in ice cube trays and rub where needed when needed. Watermelon, tomato and aloe naturally help protect against UV damage, soothe irritation, & calm redness - they also help build future resistance to harmful UV rays. Orange and red fruits and veggies contain lycopene which has been shown to be helpful in protecting against the sun. Cucumber juice can also calm irritation and redness.
No juice?
Steep chopped peppermint leaves in hot water like tea to release mint oils.
